Ahmed Misbah

Lead Software Developer at RIS with 6 years of experience developing Java applications. I am also a certified SCEA, SCMAD, SCDJWS, SCWCD and SCJP. For over a year now, started developing applications for Android Platform and  delivered various sessions on Android SDK. Developing mobile applications for Android is becoming very interesting to me a favorable especially after the wide adoption of the platform.

Ahmed Sabbour

Regional Technical Manager, Nokia, India, Middle East and Africa
Ahmed Sabbour has been with Nokia since 2011 in the Ecosystem and Developer Experience division based out of Cairo, Egypt. He is responsible for assisting developers to get their applications developed and published on Nokia platforms, in addition to handling any technical difficulties they may encounter.

Ultimately, Sabbour is the go-to person when it comes to technical difficulties; Sabbour works within Nokia to prepare training programs and crash courses for developers, companies and universities to make the most out of the technologies and solutions offered by Nokia. Prior to joining Nokia, Sabbour worked as a developer and later as a consultant for several software houses and has a diverse programming background in technologies such as Qt C++, QML, .NET and C#, SQL Server Spatial, PHP, Java, HTML, JavaScript and CSS. He is a coder at heart. He holds a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the German University in Cairo.

Amr ElAdawy

Amr ElAdawy is a Software Engineer at Etisalat Egypt. Over 6 years experience in Software Engineering, Amr has been working with many technologies like J2EE, ASP.NET, J2ME and PHP . Based on deep understanding of web development concepts, wide background in social networking application and Mobile Applications, combined with years of experience  in Telecommunications field specially in Sales applications for Etisalat. Amr is currently participating in CRM automated solution in Etisalat.  Amr is the founder of the Jspx Java web framework, that is an open source free web RAD in java

Ayman El Sheikh

Ayman has over 12 Years of experience working with Middle Ware solutions using JEE technologies. He has held several positions in major organisations such as  Oracle covering areas from development, system architecture and delivering small and large projects, then moving to solution and enterprise  architecture and finally Middle East Turkey and Africa, Solutions Architects Manager. Ayman has hands on experience with a variety of Middle Ware solutions from the top vendors.

For the past 3 years Ayman has focused his attention on opensource technologies with Red Hat, in addition to this he is the subject matter expert for SOA with in the Red Hat Middle Ware team in EMEA.

Chris Richardson

Chris Richardson is a developer and architect with over 20 years of experience. He is a Java Champion and the author of POJOs in Action, which describes how to build enterprise Java applications with POJOs and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. Chris is the founder of the original CloudFoundry.com and now spends his time evangelizing Cloud Foundry.  He has a computer science degree from the University of Cambridge in England and lives in Oakland, CA with his wife and three children.

Geertjan Wielenga

Geertjan Wielenga is an Oracle product manager working on the NetBeans Team. He has been working in the software industry since 1996, and is an active blogger, trainer, writer, and speaker. In 2004 he joined Sun Microsystems and now continues to work on NetBeans within Oracle.

Gregor Rayman

Gregor Raýman works for Oracle as a Fusion Middleware Specialist for the Alliances & Channels Technology Adoption Office in ECEMEA. Before he joined Oracle he worked on various projects in manufacturing, telco and financial industries. He coauthored a book about object oriented programming in various programming languages (in German). In 2006 he joined Oracle Consulting as a technical architect specialized on the Service Oriented Architecture and led the creation of architectures on projects for various Oracle customers.

Heba Fouad

Heba Fouad is an Oracle Fusion Middleware Consultant. She has over 7 years experience in architecture, development, consulting and mentoring, her expertise includes JEE, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web services, XML related technologies and Weblogic. She worked in many different environments for example: The armed forces, manufacturer of military defense electronics and maritime services, currently she is working at Oracle as a Fusion Middleware Specialist for the Alliances & Channels Technology Adoption Office in ECEMEA.

Hosam Aly

Hosam Aly is a highly skilled software engineer, with a broad experience covering a diverse set of software development tools, languages and methodologies, gathered throughout more than 7 years of working for companies of all sizes. Hosam has a degree in computer science from Cairo University, and is knowledgeable in programming languages, algorithms, and software engineering processes.

Jernej Kase

Jernej Kase is a consultant with a special focus in delivering business value with Oracle Fusion Middleware platform. Jernej actively works with Oracle Partners, examining how they can improve productivity, shorten time-to-market and consequently expand and grow by adopting products from the Fusion Middleware family.

Joonas Lehtinen

Dr. Joonas Lehtinen is one of the core developers of Vaadin, a Java-based framework for building business-oriented Rich Internet Applications. Joonas has been developing applications for the web since 1995 with a strong focus on Ajax and Java. He is the founder and CEO of the company behind the Vaadin framework and is a frequent speaker at international conferences.

Kees Jan Koster

Kees Jan is founder and CTO of http://java-monitor.com, the free, online Java monitoring tool. Kees Jan previously gave presentations on JavaOne, Devoxx, TheServerSide Symposium and J-Fall.

Koen Aers

Koen is currently driving the Eclipse integration of the JBoss Forge project. Before that he was responsible for the Eclipse support and the different workflow editors of the jBPM project. Koen graduated as a Civil Engineer from the Belgian Royal Military Academy and obtained an additional Master's Degree in Information Technology at the Brussels Free University. Before joining JBoss, he worked respectively in the IT department of the Belgian Army and as a software consultant. Koen is a regular speaker at public events and conferences.

Lukas Fryc

Lukas is Software Engineer at JBoss by Red Hat, working as a RichFaces core developer and acts as an Arquillian project contributor. He is a web technologies enthusiast, focusing on development simplicity and testability. Lukas has a Bachelor of Applied Informatics degree from Masaryk University, Brno. 

Lukasz Romaszewski

Lukasz Romaszewski is an ISV Migration Consultant working for Oracle for 4 years, helping Oracle Partners to get skilled and adopt the latest Oracle technology in Fusion Middleware area. He has been a Java and PL/SQL developer and architect for last decade and now delivers workshops, trainings and seminars on ADF, SOA, WebLogic and Oracle Forms technology.

Mark Clarke

Mark Clarke has been at Jumping Bean since 2001 working as a solutions engineer and Java architect. His background is in the financial services industry having worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and First National Bank. He is also active in the community as a founder member of the Jozi Jug and Jozi Linux User Group. 

Mark Clarke is the  of program manager for Coders4Africa South Africa and a member of JUG Africa.

Mike Keith

Mike Keith has over 20 years experience as a developer, architect, author and mentor in the areas of object-oriented computing, distributed systems and persistence. He is an enterprise architect at Oracle and works on Java EE and its sub-specifications, along with the modularity specifications at the OSGi Alliance. He authored the popular "Pro EJB 3" and "Pro JPA 2" books that have become the seminal reference books for programming with JPA. He is also the project lead for the Eclipse Gemini project, an open source Eclipse project that combines Java EE and other technologies with OSGi modularity.

Mohamed Abdeljalil

Mohamed Abdeljalil is responsible for Nokia's Ecosystem Business Development division for North Africa, based in Cairo, Egypt. He worked for Nokia since the summer of 2006 holding various positions in the Services, Solutions Sales and Markets team. 

Mohamed is a key contributor to the Nokia Ecosystem engagement program in North Africa and in Egypt in particular. Recent initiatives are launch of a series of Nokia services to the developers’ community and the hosting of several entrepreneurship events. During his current assignment he led many local initiatives in the market like the Nokia launched Mobile Lab for Egypt and Mobile Monday Egypt Chapter. 

Before joining Nokia, Mohamed was the Technical Support for the Mobile Value Added Services Platforms at Nokia Siemens Networks for the Middle East. Prior to that, Mohamed has assumed different technical and marketing positions at Alcatel-Lucent and YallaOnline ISP.  

Mohamed has a diverse technical background, business and strong network in the Arabic developer community. He has a BSC degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Ain Shams University. Finally, he is devout tech geek and loves to be called by his nickname Galilu.

Osama Oransa

Osama Oransa is Certified Architect and SME in Web Services technology. Currently holding a Java specialist position at HP, he worked before at the IBM corporate center in Egypt and Oracle as a senior software engineer, he won Duke Choice Award in 2010 by the Pulse HealthIntact project and selected by Oracle as one of the future of the Java, Osama is finishing his CS Master Degree in Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport. He was one of the speakers at the Cairo Java Developer Conference 2010 and Frontier Keynote in JavaOne 2010, Osama is Open Source contributor with around 12 projects posted in the SourceForge.
